Magnesium supplements
Quality of Evidence: Very Low
Summary:
Coadministration has not been studied. Bictegravir may be subject to chelation by high concentrations of divalent cations which may result in reduced bictegravir concentrations. It is recommended to administer bictegravir and mineral supplements containing magnesium simultaneously with food. Alternatively, if coadministration with food is not possible, bictegravir and magnesium supplements can be administered without food if administration is separated by 2 hours.
