Expanded General Anaesthetics Section

Friday 13 January 2012

The General Anaesthetics section has been expanded to include muscle relaxants and additional general anaesthetics. The listing for ketamine and protease inhibitors has been changed from green to amber as data are now available which suggest that CYP3A4 is the major enzyme involved in ketamine metabolism at concentrations used in anaesthesia.

HIV iCharts and HIV-Charts2Go have been updates with these changes and new versions of the printable pdf charts have been uploaded to the website.
